Parts of speech are so abstract and vague for children (and many adults). What better way to make it more concrete than to give each one a personality! This is what Brittany Tanner has done over at LCE. She spends one minilesson on each family member, gives them a hands-on activity to practice, and then expects to see them used correctly in their writing. What a great, engaging, efficient way to teach these difficult concepts. Thanks for sharing, Mrs. Tanner!
