I stopped by the LaGrange Memorial Library this weekend and spoken with Miss Pat, the children's librarian. She allowed me to have a sneak peak at the brochure for this year's summer reading program. (We thought the illustrator may be the same person who illustrated I Wanna Iguana, but we haven't confirmed this.)
Tell your students to stop by as soon as school is over and get signed up for the summer reading program! The schedule looks a little something like this:
June 3 at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. - Two magic shows featuring magician David Ginn
June 10 at 10 a.m. - Lafayette Youth String Ensemble
June 17 at 10 a.m. - Music for Children of All Ages
June 24 at 10 a.m. - "Queen Glitter"
July 1 at 10 a.m. - Eric Litwin, "The Pied Piper of Children", entertains with songs and stories
