Putting a Face With a Name

Maniac Magee and Stargirl. Two of my all-time favorite characters. Jerry Spinelli conjured them up. I ran across an interview with him today. It's weird to put a face with a name; he looks nothing like I pictured him! (Until today, I didn't even realize I had a "picture" of him in the file folders in my brain!)
