Snappin' Away a Bad Day

SOLS Challenge Day 2
I wasn't in a good mood when I got home from school today.  Instead of working out, doing a load of laundry, or starting dinner, I took out my camera and instantly felt better.

My daughter and her friend were swinging in their homemade hammock, chatting in hushed tones, but giggling loudly.  It was the perfect "photo op."  After snapping eight or ten pictures, my spirits were lifted.

I have to stop and take a lesson from my tween daughter once in a while.  It's good for the soul to do something that you enjoy until it makes you feel better.  Apparently it doesn't take too long!

  1. It is amazing that such a simple thing can transform your whole perspective. I like your description of your daughter and friend swinging, chatting and giggling.
