Click, Clack, Persuade!

Have you enjoyed Click Clack Moo with your class yet this year? There is a persuasive writing lesson that goes with it for grades 1-5. (You'll find it listed in the Writing section on your grade level page on the K-5 Resource page.) Mrs. Daniel, a fourth grade teacher at Cannon Street, used the lesson and allowed her students to write a piece in which an animal tries to persuade a person via texting! The students were thoroughly engaged. Some forgot they were supposed to be texting and wrote more than they would have ordinarily. (A little trickery is always helpful!) Check the lesson out and let us know what type of twist you put on the lesson!
