Do you know Flocabulary? Flocabulary creates original hip-hop music and standards-based curricular materials to teach academic content for grades 3-12. Check the site out-- there are sample songs in each subject area, including one for the five elements of a story. Enjoy!
I have used the 'Elements' song from Flocabulary in my classroom this year. I didn't know if the students would really get into the song, but they love singing the chorus so far. We're working on the verses. Hopefully this will help them remember the elements when they are reading and writing their own stories.
